I love dragons, and i will be uploading my plethora of illustrations as i am able.
this one was an idea i had of a nocturnal feathered species.
it took me 26 hours of work on black skratchboard, although i did use photo shop to clean up a major flaw that was in the original, so this image is slightly different from the hard coppy >_<

The sheer amount of detail just blows me away! And the concept itself is also marvelous. I like how it has both a beak AND teeth. I am sooo impressed.
It scares the living daylights out of me. ;D The beak and teeth combo really gives it something.
Next time you do a scratchboard, you should try not outlining in white on those spikes and horns. Get rid of the line look altogether and just go for the highlights. I think it would make this stunning piece even more flooring.
